You... You REALLY just don't research things at all do you? "Obviously Crash Bandicoot & Spyro were here before him..." First Sonic appearance was in 1991. First Crash Bandicoot? 1996. Spyro The Dragon? 1998. Both of them debuted on the Sony Playstation, whereas Sonic started out on the Sega Megadrive.

Also, Bunnie Rabbot gets plenty of her own scenes and personality? She's a self sacrificing heroic character who has often given up her own chance at happiness (aka, getting her robot bits fixed) in lieu of helping others. She's also had an entire chapter dedicated to her fear of becoming completely robotosized and hurting her friends.
Okay, I know I already responded to this on Twitter, but I might as well say it here so any viewers don't think I'm an idiot. When I said Crash and Spyro came first, I meant my personal exposure to these characters. I should have been clearer but the first games I ever played was Crash 2 and Spyro.
